Coffee table of French Bordeaux wine box branded ends.
This coffee table is made from six Grand Cru French Bordeaux (Cabernet Sauvignon) wine box ends. All six wines are from the excellent 2003 Vintage The table is framed in Red Oak and the edge is inlaid with Paduk (very red) the outside edge is Black Walnut. The table legs are tapered red oak. I was looking at a straoght forward mission style in creating this table.
The wines are all from the Bordeaux region of France and would cost $1000 or more per case (12 btls) to buy.
The Chateau’s are as follows Chateau Pontet Canet, Pauillac 2003, Chateau Doisy Vedrines, Sauternes 2003, Chateau Lascombes-Margaux 2003, Chateau La fleur Petrus, Pomerol 2003, Chateau Smith Haut Lafite Graves (Pesac Leognan) 2003, Chateau Pichon Longville Ctse. de Lalande. This is a one of a kind table These are all fine examples of the great wines from the Bordeaux region of France. These 6 cases of wine would run $3000-$5000 to buy
This is a one of a kind table. I may build several in the same style but no two will ever be a like given the many Chateau’s to choose from.
The next table, almost finished, is all ‘98 First Growth Bordeaux,Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, Chateau Latour, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, Chateau Margaux, Chateau Haut Brion and a Chateau d’Yquem 2001 Sauterne to top it off.
These are the 6 highest rated wines in all of Bordeaux and would run $3000-$10,000 a case. This means six cases would easily run 25 grand or more. I have sold a single bottle of some of these wine for $1000+
I will also custom build tables to your liking, wood types Oak, Maple,Cherry,Mahogany, Black Walnut, etc. and I can do longer legs for a sofa table or end tables, I have plans for a dining room table as well.
