This table custom built for a guy in NY

The 82 year used in this table represent the best vintage since 1961 and one of the best of the last 50 years. Each case of wine would cost between $30,000 and $60,000 for twelve bottles case. These all come from First Growth wines there are only five Chateaus with that designation and three that are considered equal in quality

This table is framed in Red Oak,with an inlay of Paduk and Black Walnut for the edge.



Construction hand picked panels provided by Mr. Foster



All hand glued with biscuit joints. I added additional cross bracing for added strength.

Each wine panel is also preped for table construction by adding backing of half inch (thickness) birch plywood for squaring and consistancy of size. .Planing down the panels a bit helps.flatten them as well.

Wine box panels vary as to the quality of the branding and the specific Chateau or Winery available.

I try to stock as many of the best Chateau of Bordeaux and Burgundy as I can locate.
